| SAMPLE QUESTIONS THE TRUSTEE MAY ASK AT YOUR 341 MEETING OF CREDITORS |
Your name will be called and you will come to the front and be sworn in.
Trustee: Please state your name and address.
Trustee: Have you moved since you filed your bankruptcy paper? (If yes, your new address and phone number is requested)
Trustee: Have you listed all your assets (property)?
Trustee: Have you listed all your debts (bills)?
Trustee: Are you entitled to receive either a Federal or State income tax refund and if so, how much did you receive or are you to receive? (This question is only asked this during income tax season)
Trustee: Do you expect to receive $600.00 or more or more from any sources other than work in the next six months? (tax refunds, inheritance, personal injury settlements, etc.)
Trustee: Other than your normal and customary debts, have you paid any creditor $600.00 or more in the last 90 days?
If you have something unusual on your bankruptcy, such as a lawsuit pending or you are to receive some money from divorce settlement, auto accident/personal injury settlement, workers compensation settlement, lawsuit, ect., the Trustee will ask you about the case settlement and when you expect to receive the money.
