Introduction: You will have to attend at least one court session with the Bankruptcy Court – it is called the Meeting of Creditors. There is no judge present. A “trustee” is appointed in your case. She/He reviews the papers you signed and filed. The trustee will ask you to verify that the information is correct.

Where is court held?
In the Illinois Quad Cities, court is held at the old post office in downtown Rock Island at 211 - 19th Street.
